Taking Back Sunday - You’re So Last Summer
She was so perfectly imperfect and beautiful celebrities nowadays would never be caught dead with tan lines or have their dress sleeve slipping off like that in public but she was a real person she was someone with curves and a real opinion she promoted a healthy self image by practicing what she was preaching unlike celebrities nowadays who tell us to love ourselves while they are constantly spending thousands of dollars fixing themselves and dieting to look the way no average girl could ever look that is why she is my idol and I’d give anything to have her back

Actually Marilyn Monroe didn’t directly “promote” healthy self image. She was model weight for her time. She would lose weight rapidly, which is an obviously symptom of an eating disorder. She changed herself based on roles and events. Marilyn also had all of her dresses literally sewn onto her. In my eyes, that isn’t promoting a healthy self image, it’s quite the opposite. It shows the pressure and tribulations of Hollywood, and the pressure to be perfect while in the spotlight.
